Be Inspired PR planned the inspiration shoot, saying, We partnered with a brand new hotel in Manhattan Beach for this beautiful modern blue photo shoot with some of our favorite Los Angeles wedding vendors. Photographed by Valorie Darling, it’s the first wedding content ever shot on the property. We were inspired by the beachy color scheme of the hotel rooms, and chose a palette of blues and greys to complement the property. There were so many sweet details, including “message in a bottle”- inspired stationery and incredible white and green florals.

A spirited atmosphere where West Coast meets East Coast and the endless Southern California summer combines with the cosmopolitan appeal of nearby shopping, restaurants and nightlife, the design will fuse the two coastal aesthetics with modern lines and sandy hues brightened by pops of navy blue. Drawing destination inspiration, the hotel lobby will mirror the nostalgic Manhattan Beach pier, featuring striking wooden columns with metal accents. The bold sense of arrival continues with a custom Argentine driftwood check-in desk and artwork by SoCal photorealist Eric .Zener, celebrated for his underwater paintings. Open in February 2018, westdrift Manhattan Beach will set the scene for L.A.’s buzzing South Bay and provide the ideal blend of business and pleasure, the ultimate space for gatherings large or small, and a setting crafted for unforgettable moments.
