This military wedding on our blog today is straight out of a movie! Romantic, ethereal, and set on a Tennessee estate back-dropped by miles of rolling hills, it’s a scene from “The Sound of Music,” we swear! Can’t you just imagine the sweet stillness of the woods being enlivened by bluegrass music and lit up with twinkle lights?! Yea, this sounds like the perfect wedding eve to us! Austin Gros was there to capture the magic and encapsulated the night like this:
“Elizabeth and Caleb were married at the family’s private estate in Tennessee. The bride wore a stunning Harper gown by Monique Lhullier and carried a bouquet of white peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, blue thistle, queen anne’s lace, bay leaf and wheat. The groom and his groomsmen wore their formal Navy whites. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in front of one of the property’s barns, and then took their places at long wooden farm tables adorned with bay leaf garlands and simple white candles. A filet dinner was served under the cafe lights as the sun set. A bluegrass band from the bride’s hometown serenaded guests during dinner.”
