This wedding on our blog today has convinced us that a wide open field is the perfect venue to create an event all your own (and throw a giant party!)! This creative couple, an artist and a Solvang wine maker, incorporated elements so fitting of their life together, and with the help of their family, friends, and Jesi Haack Design, turned this Santa Barbara meadow into a a classy pastel dream! Jesi Haack made mini wine trusses covered with ribbons for ceremony decor and set up an artists easel with paint for guests to pain the guest book (what a novel idea!). As a centerpiece and a tribute to the wine maker groom, wine bottles were filled with candles and Afloral silk flowers. We love this cost effective and DIY-able look to fill the reception tables! The escort cards were jam jars printed with the cute “spread the love” saying were made by the groom’s mom for all the guests. With all these heartfelt details, a first look under a magnificent willow tree, and a walk through the hills at Sunset, this romantic wedding will whisk you away!
