Lavender Vineyard Wedding - Inspired By This

This gorgeous wedding on our blog today is soft and elegant with a vineyard venue and a color scheme that ranged from lavender to plum. The secluded wine country venue made for picturesque scenery and also housed a rustic barn and stunning chapel for ideal ceremony and reception locales. The bride’s gorgeous lace gown, the homegrown honey, and the mason jar drink glasses fill this perfect purple wedding with Southern charm. Although Rebecca and Petar laugh at their story, “We met at a bar,” the two of them really are adorable and perfect for each other. Petar is a fun loving guy who outwardly adores Rebecca. Rebecca is his perfect match and balance. The two are currently city kids who decided to bring their union to the outskirts of Charlottesville in Virginia wine country at Early Mountain Vineyard. During our initial conversation, most of all, Rebecca wanted her guests to have an amazing time. She succeeded, even with rain looming! Rebecca and Petar embraced their wedding day and perfected every detail of the reception with personal touch. Her colors were inspired by the vineyard in the fall. She chose various shades of purple, from a rich wine to soft lavender, to complement the vineyard. These colors can be found everywhere – not only in the bridesmaid dresses but also in the classy, relaxed floral designs that Tourterelle put together as well as all of the paper products and signage from Type A Invitations. Rebecca also included a bee-theme though out the details of the day. After all, her mom’s hives provided each guest with a fun sized honey bear to take home. All in all, their wedding day turned out to be a gorgeous vineyard fete.
