This was a destination vow renewal in Joshua Tree, California. The couple has been married for 10 years and chose this special moment to renew their vows to each other and re-spark their flame. It was an emotional day for everyone involved. The style was elegant and modern boho, inspired by Joshua Tree itself. While relating back to the classic wedding style that these two had on their wedding day!

This Vow Renewal is special because of how tailor-made it was to Natalie and Mark. From her Birkenstocks, to his scruff, to her poses with a dress that made her feel beautiful; it was unique to them. Though it isn’t a “wedding,” it is inspiring to future brides in a way that shows them that they can do whatever they want with their day to make it unique to them. Yet have it still be as beautiful as any other wedding. Mark and I had a wonderful time spending the weekend with Jessica for the renewal of our vows. Before the time that we were supposed to go up, she made sure that we were well informed and gave us beyond what we desired. As a matter of fact, it was as if she read our minds and did just what we wanted. Jessica’s not just a photographer to do the job and get done, but she makes herself a friend to you. I thoroughly enjoyed our drive together chatting, and cracking up during the shoot, but mostly how she makes you feel at ease during a moment when you want to be at your best. She is transparent and I loved that most of all. For me, handing out with people for quite some time is mentally draining but I didn’t feel that way when I was with Jessica.
