White, Whimsical Wedding by Taylor Lord

A wedding this beautiful is hard to come by and we feel so lucky to be sharing it on Inspired by This today!  Truly the only person who could describe this day adequately would be the bride (a fashion blogger) herself, so we let her do just that…

Before we started planning we sat down and came up with three adjectives we wanted the wedding to be. It was apparent we were on the same page as we wrote down the exact same things; fun, memorable, and classic. It was really important to us for everyone to have a good time, but also make them feel like they were all part of one, big, family. We also wanted a wedding that would be chic and stand the test of time, so we chose to do an all white wedding with accents of gold. The simple color palette allowed the beauty of the venue and the backdrop of Lake Travis to really stand out. To accomplish all of this we hired Caroline, of Caroline Events, who was an absolute dream! She saw our vision and made it come to life. She is also one of the kindest, most patient, and caring people I have ever met. I hit the wedding planner jackpot!  We then enjoyed a sit-down, family style dinner, under the beautifully lit tent. We decided to do one long table which was perfect. I will never forget being able to look down the entire way and see every person that has supported us and impacted our lives. We both felt overwhelmed with love and happiness. Ending the night with our all mo-town band, the Matchmakers, was the perfect way to cap it off.  I knew I was getting to marry the man of my dreams, but to have a wedding that was beautiful and perfectly us, was more than I could have ever imagined.
