This forest elopement shoot on our wedding blog today captured us with its amazing array of flowers (seriously amazing!) and fall hues! The beautiful couple (we’re going to need a tutorial on her hairstyle!) is matched by the amazing countryside location! With their pet fawn in tow the couple enjoyed a rustic and romantic setup shot by the talented Kristina Curtis. She was endlessly inspired by this shoot along with stylist Rachael Ellen , so without further a due, here’s the dreamy day from their perspective:
We chose a late Summer going into Fall color palette. Rich berry-toned ranunculus, spray roses, and dahlias complimented apricot hues of english garden roses, zinnias, and stock. Deep Fall foliage was used with pops of lavender and russian sage. The tablescape for two was nestled in the wildflowers surrounded by pine trees-the perfect intimate setting for two. A beautiful gold urn centerpiece set the focus for the table scape. The details were romantic and simple–Gold accents, iron garden chairs, lavender macaroons, and romantic flowers all paired with a sweet and delicate cake adorned with fresh flowers. Our sweet little deer made her debut wearing a flower wreath; one may find such a beautiful fawn grazing the French countryside. The bride wore a simple soft ivory dress paired perfectly with natural makeup, a berry lip, charming braids and curls. She held a full, romantic styled bouquet with flowing ribbon. side note: The fawn is a pet so no animals were harmed or captured in the making of this shoot.
