This couple had a long-distance love, before settling in Seattle, where their dreamy engagement photos in Magnuson Park took place. They may have met at a wedding, but now it’s their turn to tie the knot! The bride to-be shares their sweet love story alongside the beautiful engagement session captured by Kerry Jeanne Photography!
From the bride-to-be:
Two worlds collided when our mutual friends held a wedding on a balmy day in New York City: on one side, the groom’s nerdy friends from Carnegie Mellon; the other, the bride’s friends from Manhattan. We hit it off during the reception (sitting at the single’s table!) and built on that during the after party. After the wedding, we stayed in contact, until Mitchell was able to visit NY again because of several business trips. The chemistry was undeniable, and a long distance relationship was born. After a year of a long-distance relationship between Seattle and New York, Jasmine took the brave step to move to Seattle! Finally being in the same city, we developed our relationship with food, travel, hiking, and dogs!
Our engagement session with Kerry was so much fun as we introduced her to Magnuson Park. This location has a special place in our hearts because it’s where we love to take weekend strolls with our dogs. And, as if on-cue, the Seattle sun shined brightly that day for Kerry to work her natural-light magic! She found this quiet trail that led us to a dreamy forest with gentle light throughout, and we all instantly knew that that was going to be the perfect backdrop for us. We couldn’t be happier with the final dreamy photos!
