Bride-to-be Megan shares…
I first met Jacob when I was just 16 years old. Six weeks after our first date, he left on a humanitarian trip to Mozambique. During that time we emailed and wrote letters, despite being on opposite sides of the world! Jacob returned home in the spring of 2014 and we immediately picked up where we left off. I had shared with Jacob that I wanted to travel to Europe before he started medical school, so we booked our flights to France, Italy, and Switzerland! We were sitting on a bench overlooking the beautiful valley of Lauterbrunnen when I turned over and saw Jacob on one knee! I was over the moon – I couldn’t wait to marry my best friend!
