This stunning Arizona desert El Chorro wedding is something out of a lush garden fairytale. Neutral tones completed the couple’s dreams of a minimalistic and intimate wedding, with just a pop of color from the groomsmen’s blue suits. The bride wore a beautiful watters gown which looked effortlessly elegant with her blush floral bouquet. The bride and groom decided to share their first looks and read their vows to each other before the ceremony, which are perfectly captured in photos by Jessica Q Photography. The bride shares…
One of my favorite moments would be seeing Rob turn around at our “first look.” Rob and I chose to write our own vows, but we wanted to share those during our “first look.” I loved being able to share that sweet moment with him privately. I also chose to have both of my parents walk me down the aisle, rather than just my father. The second was seeing our vision come to life and seeing our beautiful venue with all of our details. We wanted something very simple and minimalistic. The third was standing at the altar with Rob and turning around to look at all of our wonderful friends and family that came to support us and celebrate with us. I loved seeing their smiling faces. Lastly, we had a wonderful rainbow pop up in the sky immediately after we walked down the aisle!
We wanted a lot of greenery and florals that looked like a garden; florals that did not look too neat or put together. Sarah from Sarah’s Garden was an absolute dream to work with and captured our vision perfectly. My dress was not something that I originally envisioned wearing, but once I tried it on knew it was the dress for me. It felt so ethereal and flattering. Every time I tried it on, I loved it as much as I did the very first time. I also picked a very simple cathedral length veil. We wanted to have a dessert table and chose a small two-layer cake and lots of cupcakes so that people could grab a cupcake and get out on the dance floor. Our cake was very simple – strawberries and cream with a few florals to accent the cake.
