Dockside Engagement Photos Straight Out of The Notebook

Modeling your engagement session after one of the most romantic movies of all time sounds like a good idea…but just wait, it gets even better. This couple’s dockside engagement photos take place at the bride to-be’s family estate that just so happens to look like a scene straight out of The Notebook. So, when they tandem bike underneath a canopy of trees and rowboat through a pond, scenes from the movie come to life. And Christian and Samantha do it justice! We get goosebumps from just the way they look at one another! Valorie Darling captured them right in their element, wrapped up in each other and in an extra special place.

Valorie says, Christian and Samantha grew up together and have been dating for 5 years now.Christian put together a beautiful proposal with a path of rose petals and lit candles that lead outside to the couple’s deck. He set up an arch covered with lights, rose petals, drapes etc. It was so romantic and intimate. Their families were waiting downstairs for them once Samantha said “YES!” Now, they’re getting married on her family property where the engagement session took place. It’s an extremely special place to them and it’s complete with a beautiful pond and dock. It felt like a combination of being inside The Notebook and Tuscany. So dreamy!

Lastly, we couldn’t end the session without including their adorable weimaraner puppy, Payton Grey.
