The “Toss Bar” has become ever popular, so we created these DIY confetti bags on our wedding blog so you can exit your wedding with guests shouting “hooray!” and confetti in your hair! We dip-dyed simple white paper bags with purple dye but you can pick the color that best suits your wedding color scheme. Calligraph a celebratory message on the bags, fill with confetti, and voila! Set up a table outside the wedding venue, or place them under the chairs and along the aisles so your guests can shower you after “I Do!”
Supplies:
Plain White Paper Bags
Permanent Marker
Directions
Step 1: Warm up two cups of water, pour your dye in, and stir!
Step 2: Take each bag and dip it into the water! (For an ombre look, dip each bag gradually into the dye to soak each layer longer than the next!)
Step 3: Lay the bags flat to dry on a safe surface that won’t get stained—now it’s time to get creative! Choose a few sayings to write on your bags in permanent marker like “Cheers!”, “Yay!”, or “Congrats!” You can always incorporate metallic markers or paint markers for another look.
Step 4: Fill your bags with confetti for your guests to toss! Use these fun toss bags (that double as cute decor!) at the end of your ceremony, or for your reception exit too!
