Katie (bride) was a California girl who met her future husband Mitch while playing waterpolo in Australia. Hawaii was the perfect “meet in the middle” location for their wedding. Katie wanted the event to exude “tropical paradise” feels and chose the secluded Dillingham Ranch located North Shore countryside of the Oahu island. The wedding ceremony took place in the backyard’s avenue of Royal Palms. Going along with the Tropical paradise theme, the bridesmaids wore tropical print dresses and floral crowns. The bride herself wore a lace dress with a low back and knee high slit. The groom looks dashing in his beige suit adored by a green maile lei (a garland worn traditionally by Hawaiian men on their wedding day). He and his groomsmen all wore matching tropical print ties as well.
The florals really made a statement. Vibrant pink, purple, and orange hues were complimented with tropical greenery. At the wedding reception, pineapples were filled with flowers and the bride and groom even had their own matching golden pineapple tumblers. Mai tais were served as the signature drink, and the guests enjoyed an island fusion menu made from local ingredients. A couple signature touches were the abalone shell seating chart, with each guest’s name hand written by the bride, and the blue and white table runners which were designed by the bride’s sister in law.
OKAY. THIS. IS. TOO. CUTE.
That bouqueeeeetttetetettt!
