Colorful Anniversary Photoshoot in Marfa, TX

Marfa, Texas is known for its quirky character and beautiful desert landscape. So, it’s only right that this colorful anniversary photoshoot exude that same personality. Lean On Me Events, together with the couple and a fabulous team of vendors, designed it with that in mind. And boy! Did they succeed. Little decor was needed to complement the stunning couple and setting, however, the elements they chose fit just right. Jerad and Tawny have been married for 2 years and wanted to celebrate the joyful milestone with a photoshoot. They wanted it to reflect their upbeat personalities but still keep it intimate. They chose the expansive desert of Marfa, TX. Its mountain ranges surrounded them in a private and intimate setting. Their one request – color, lots of color.

In designing the photoshoot we chose bold colors such as Terracotta orange, bright pink, and an emerald green, which complimented Tawny’s eyes beautifully. Drawing inspiration from the desert setting itself, we incorporated lots of cacti, succulents, and protea in the floral. In keeping with the boho feel, Lovely Bride provided the perfect dress to fit Tawny’s personality and overall look we were going for. Finally, Cake and Confetti styled a super fun balloon garland to honor the couple’s request for vibrant color. And let me tell you, having this gorgeous couple in front of the bright garland with the mountains in the background is what dreams are made of!
