One of our favorite navy blue wedding color schemes combines the hue with peach and blush, so it is safe to say we knew we would adore this wedding at first sight! Inspired by the oceanfront beaches in Virginia, the bride and groom had a specific idea of what “I do” would entail. The result? This beautiful coastal navy wedding! From navy patterned stationery to navy striped linens, the color touches every detail. Their big day was full of gorgeous scenery of the Maine coastline, enough libations for everyone to enjoy, and oh-so-much love. It is beyond evident that they are living out the best day of their lives, and we are honored to share it with you. So read on to be inspired by this classic, elegant, slightly-preppy Maine wedding.
Photographer, Bonnie Sen, shares, Rebecca and Tommy’s Maine wedding was the perfect blend of coastal details, stunning blue accents and gorgeous fall blooms. This Virginia Beach couple brought their friends and family to Maine, where Rebecca’s family travels to each summer, for a weekend of celebration starting with a lobster bake (of course) and ending with blueberry pie. What would you expect from a Maine wedding? The color palette of cobalt blue and soft accents of pink and peach perfectly complement the Maine coastline and early fall landscape. Sweet and personal details like buoy escort cards and table numbers, Dahlias of any flower lover’s dreams and a dapper ring bearer rounded out this northeastern celebration.
