Kenzie and Jordan may be the most adorable couple. Our story begins 5 years ago when my best friend introduced Jordon and I to one another. We were both graduating from high school in Indiana and i was about to head to South Carolina for school, while Jordon was staying in state.
Jordon and I fell in love almost immediately, and despite being told we were too young we knew it was a forever kind of love. After being together for only two months Jordon changed his plans and ended up moving to florida so that we could be closer to each other. I didn’t have a car, so every other week for a year he made the 6 hour drive from Florida to South Carolina just to see me.
After doing long distance for a year, i decided to change schools and move to Florida to be closer to Jordon, and it was truly the best decision I have ever made. Today, Jordon and I have graduated and are living in Washington, D.C. for work.
Jordon planned out our proposal perfectly. Apart from designing the ring himself, picking out a dress for me, and making sure my mother took me to get a manicure, he chose the perfect spot. My parents have a home in Sarasota, Fl and over Memorial Day weekend we went to visit. While there, Jordon took me outside by the water and asked me to spend forever with him, of course I said yes! He had also planned a dinner with our entire extended family at one of my favorite restaurants that evening, it was truly perfect.
We can’t wait to start the next chapter of our lives together and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found my soulmate.
