This isn’t your conventional bridal inspiration shoot, but isn’t that what we want? Style that is out of the box and images that go above and beyond what we thought was possible to inspire us to create something similar in real life? Rustic and boho do little to describe this photoshoot in full but hint at the wooden touches and woven, wicker, and macrame elements you will see throughout. Lula Belle Events incorporated so many cool decorations into the shoot, playing with a super cute horse trailer turned bar as the focal point. And could the backdrop of blossoming Almond trees be any more beautiful? We think not! Below, they describe the boho bridal inspiration in detail, and how you can bring elements of it to your own spring wedding day.
The designers share…
Spring breathes new life into the world around us and that’s just where our inspiration began for this styled wedding editorial. The almond orchards in Northern California bloom only a few short weeks out of the year so it was the perfect opportunity to use nature’s background as the layout for this editorial, providing a soft and romantic venue to celebrate love.
The fresh white blooms paired with wood tones created a gorgeous natural aesthetic. Pops of green found in orchard rows, an olive garland, a fiddle leaf fig, and a rosemary cocktail garnish added another dimension of color while still adhering to the natural color palate. The Horseshoe Bar perfectly complemented the look and feel of the shoot and incorporated plant-based cocktail garnishes of rosemary and lavender for a touch of color and an organic element.
Florals by Alana Marie elevated each area with stunning white blooms to reflect the beauty of the Almond Orchard, an olive garland draped across the bar, and a bohemian and organic crown and bouquet for our bride. Our stunning model, Danielle Donohue was also the driving force behind the styling of the lounge and decor pieces. Each lounge piece from her collection at Danielle’s Farmhouse added a new textural element, all within our neutral color range, giving the overall look a modern, bohemian vibe. Woven dreamcatchers and macrame garlands provided contrast from the wood and wicker found in the seating and baskets. The bridal gown, provided by La Soie Bridal, showcased an elegant lace design perfect for a bride looking to celebrate her day in a stylistic but relaxed manner, surrounded by family and friends.
We introduced some subtle metallic elements to make things pop. The copper arch and tassel garlands from Lifted Balloons added a whimsical feel. More copper could be found in the hammered mugs which decorated the bar. Brass trays and gold rimmed glassware served up signature cocktails. A neutral toned balloon garland added a fanciful and modern touch to the bar. The boho bridal inspiration with the cutest horse trailer you ever did see was captured by the talented Ashley Baumgartner who brought each element and detail to life through her photography, shot on film.
Do you love it, or do you love it?!
