Lucy shares, We took off on a day trip heading toward the Sierra Pelona Mountains, and ended up in Vasquez Rocks. We wanted a desert vibe for this inspired elopement shoot. When Lizbeth, the bride, wrote in and talked about how she met Daniel, we knew we had to photograph them. It just so happened (to our surprise) that the day before the shoot, Daniel proposed to Lizbeth! It was so amazing, as she was still on cloud nine. We were ecstatic to be able to document such an important time in their life, as they were still so incredibly excited from the night before.
Lizbeth is wearing a Galia Lahav tulle skirt and we paired it with this beautiful Mac Duggal couture beaded top. Hair and Makeup Yolanda did a beautiful twisted updo in addition to natural looking makeup. Indigo and Plum created the most beautiful florals and also a gorgeously styled tablescape to go with it. The fabulous invites and calligraphy were all done by Charley Paper Company. Lastly, Sweet Layers created a very clean two-tiered cake with a feather emblem. This desert wedding inspired shoot was the perfect balance of romance and sabulosity.
