A Bicycle Engagement Session in the Park

There’s something ultra romantic about a bike ride through the park. So, it’s no surprise that this cute couple opted for a bicycle engagement session in the park! It’s sweet, playful, and full of beautiful scenery. Plus, these photos are totally timeless! The pair brought along a picnic blanket to cuddle on and Amy Pinder Photography to capture it all.

Amy says, I feel like twirling in a blush tulle skirt right now; don’t you?! The inspiration for Lara and Dom’s engagement photos in the Arboretum came from the day that Dom asked Lara to become his wife: a picnic followed by a surprise proposal in the Arboretum!! As soon as I learned the story of their proposal, I knew we’d have to go back to that very place where Dom asked Lara to be his wife, and the vision for their session started to come together!…

And that’s when the teal bicycle came in… Not only do these two participate in long-distance triathlons and Ironman races across Southern Ontario, but also, they both have an impeccable sense of style. Lara wore her blush tulle skirt, and Dom, his checkered button-up. With hair and makeup professionally styled by to two of Ottawa’s leading stylists – Showpony Hair, and One Fine Beauty – I knew that building confidence behind the lens would be a breeze! These two will be styling her hair and makeup for her wedding day next May as well.
