These nuptials on our wedding blog today are as sweet as-can-be! We can’t get enough of the giddy couple in the blush and blue Southern wedding. Their first look is adorable, their bridal party stuns, and their open barn reception couldn’t be more perfect. Below, see it all and read a sweet summary of their love story (proposal and all!) from KT Crabb‘s point of view!
KT says, Rebecca & Brandon met at the young age of 15 years old! They lived in different states (Brandon in Virginia & Rebecca in Florida), but met at a Southeast church youth group event. Brandon boldly walked up to Becca and asked for her number not sure what the future would hold. They managed to keep in contact through social media and phone calls for 6 years. As Becca explains it, it was simply a long term crush. The moment came when they were able to find out if this long distance crush was worth jumping into a relationship. They met up in 2014 at the Passion Conference in Atlanta and immediately knew they were ready for the next step. They continued a long distance relationship for an additional year until Brandon made the big move to the Sunshine State!
They knew they were destined to wed some day in the future, but Becca is one of the hardest people to surprise! Brandon got together with her sister in order to create the perfect surprise proposal, and guess what – it worked! Brandon and Becca were on a walk after work and came upon a fully decorated riverside park. Brandon lead her down the candle lit walkway to drop on his knee to ask the question.
Their wedding was full of southern charm and sweet hearts. They met under the oak tree at Bramble Tree Estate to say “I do” while surrounded by their dearest friends and family. It truly was a dream!
