When Kathy from Browntography was brought in to help plan her sister’s baby shower she was overwhelmed! The original theme thrown around was “Asian”…a little unusual for a classic baby shower! Unsettled on how to make it all come together, she began to brainstorm how she could create a shower that was classic and beautiful but still had a hint of Asian culture. She started with a pink and yellow theme for the celebration and went from there. Everything came out simply beautiful! She incorporated Asian food, take out “thank you” favors, fortune cooks, and parasols into the decor in all the right places. That pink and yellow parasol ceiling installation in the tent is definitely one of our favorite parts! Can you believe how awesome it is!? The moss, the umbrellas, the drama!! It took something simple like a white tent and made it so much more! The soft, color coordinated roses make the event light and feminine, perfect for the garden setting. We love how they stuck with simple white linens and place settings and embellished with the gold chiavari chairs. Just the right amount of glam! This party is proof that a baby shower doesn’t have to be “baby themed”! Put aside the baby blocks and rubber ducks! Take whatever you want and turn it into something beautiful and reflective of you! Afterall, it’s a celebration of the mama-to-be. “Shower” her with love, affection, and of course, supplies for her little one on the way!
