This aunt brought 10 puppies to her niece’s birthday party and if that didn’t win her the “best aunt ever” award, the rest of this pretty pink party did! Pinwheels, balloons, and an array of sweets painted with paw prints take the 7-year-old’s big day to the next level. No doubt, these kiddos had the best time ever and walked away with milk mustaches and puppy snuggles.
From the planner, Janet of Modern Dame…
This year I wanted to do something special for my little niece, Janice, so I decided to throw her a pink puppy party! I know how much she loves puppies, so I surprised her by having 14 different breeds of puppies that Janice’s friends and she can interact with. As the puppies were getting set-up to be presented, we had face painters, balloonist, and a life-sized Blues Clues Dog entertain the guests. A custom hand-made puppy ear headband was given to each guest as they entered the party. We held the event at a beautiful draped tent in the backyard. Simple white and pink floral arrangements of garden roses, hydrangeas and ranunculus were placed on the tables. To keep everything kid-friendly, we had wooden pink detailed flatware and plates.
Bite Catering created a menu that the kids would love. The menu had mini kobe sliders, mini corn dogs, potato wedges, veggie crudite and chips. For the cake and dessert, Sweet and Saucy Shop created one of the cutest and yummiest custom desserts ever! The cake was a pink gradation two tiered chocolate and nutella filling cake. The cake topper was a super cute pink and white dog house with an adorable puppy inside. All the mini desserts had mini dog bones and puppy paw details. For the dessert table back drop, we had Brag Design come up with a cute puppy themed backdrop to display. They had pink and white rosettes bordering a cute pink and white dotted puppy.
Brag Designs also made mini rosettes to add to each bow shaped napkin. I also found matching puppy dolls to the backdrop that I placed on each table. Janice and her girlfriends had an amazing time and Janice can’t stop talking about how fun she had! This was truly a special puppy birthday party.
