A dream catcher making station, pampas grass, and floor pillows – what could be more bohemian than that? This lucky birthday girl got to celebrate her 11th year around the sun with the prettiest navy and coral boho birthday party. The girls sat around the beautifully decorated table on throws and knitted stools to create dream catchers and enjoyed delicious treats from Little Leah’s Kitchen. The dessert table had a variety of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and macaroons, each with different designs, including polka dots and feathers. Ready to be inspired? Party planner Pompons Events shares…
My inspiration for this party started with incorporating the color palette from the indigo party collection from Martha Stewart into the decor. When styling the kids’ table, I wanted the girls to have a fun and relaxing time enjoying the activity and the party. I focused on throws with a combination of colors and textures, including velvet and macramé pillows and adorable knitted stools. The table was set with little details like the name feathers, treat bags, and beautiful flowers, including ranunculus, eryngium, and baby breath.
The sweet table blended in beautifully with the theme. The dream catchers served as the perfect backdrop to the selection of artistic desserts. The dessert details included edible printing, feathers, polka dots, and more. I rented a boho peacock chair for the photo corner, and the girls had some memorable pictures taken surrounded by dream catchers and pampas grass.
