We fell in love with this beauty the second we saw it! The boho mint and blue baby shower incorporated all the mama’s favorite things and looked ultra pretty. What’s our favorite part? Between the henna artist, the bright and spacious venue, and the “Stay Wild My Child” sign, we can’t pick! Cara Burky, of Soulshine Rentals, dreamed and achieved the perfect decor and entertaining activities to make the day special for the baby mama. Here’s how it came to life:
What better way to shower a beautiful, stand up paddle boarding, barefoot dancing, yogi Mama to be than with a Boho Baby Shower!
This dreamy shower was hosted at Jacksonville’s newest event venue, Blue Jay. It’s such a beautiful blank space with fabulous natural light that makes it so simple to turn your vision into a reality. A tie dye station, henna station and a hand painted cow skull were huge parts of making this beautiful Bohemian wonderland come to life. We brought in a record player and filled a vintage suitcase with old records which was just the cherry on top. Beautiful florals were placed in vintage European demijons and assorted brass vessels and ivory candles were scattered throughout. Guests took home a small succulent as a favor and of course had beautiful henna artwork on their hands and feet to remind them of the special day. I had the best time styling this beautiful Boho shower for my sweet friend Jessica Taylor, owner of Blue Water Collective and DRIFT in Neptune Beach, FL.
