Contemporary Geometric Nursery

This contemporary nursery on our baby blog today, with it’s Moroccan pouf and geometric mobile, gives us major room envy. From the abstract wall prints, down to the vases, wooden blocks, and wall decals, a super cool triangle pattern consistently decorates the room and pops against the otherwise neutral decor. (We love how this trend is incorporated in this nursery too!). It adds to the already modern feel of the furniture and pale aqua & gold color combo. The sleek look is softened by faux fur throws, rugs, and pillows, and the bright light that enters the room. Baby Margaux sure has a sweet space to rest her head! Her parents made a major effort to make this nursery both beautiful and functional and also safe and organic. Talk about a modern (and super cool) concept! We think they did a great job. Chelsea Maras got to capture them in their pretty space when this baby girl was only a few days old! Lucky her!

Baby Margaux was born to two super awesome and very stylish parents, Natasha & Jonathan. Before her arrival her mom Natasha, a holistic nutrients and healthy lifestyle blogger, sought to create a nursery that was not only contemporary in design but also non-toxic, all natural, and organic. Working in collaboration with Havenly, a local interior design company, they created a space that is light, airy, and perfect for a little girl. They worked with brands such as CB2, Land of Nod, Baby Letto, West Elm, as well as some awesome artists from Etsy. Once Margaux was here we did some awesome intimate photos inside her beautiful nursery. Taking photos during those first few days can often be stressful but the unique bonding that takes place is so amazing to witness. Those early moments go by in a blur and to be able to capture those moments, as well as the nurseries that parents put so much time into, is so important.
