We’re drooling over more than just that food at this villa dinner party at Sunstone Winery. The decor is absolutely dreamy! And could you picture a more beautiful venue than Sunstone as the backdrop? Guests dined at a single long rustic table with a view of the rolling vineyards and delectable wine to boot! Below, the event’s producers at Be Inspired PR fill us in on all the details. With a gorgeous set up and a mouth watering menu, this soiree is showing up all other dinner parties and inspiring us to entertain fabulously.
A grey and lavender color scheme complemented both the menu and the beautiful Sunstone Villa backdrop. For the decor, custom florals from Bloominous decorated vintage farm tables, and a mix of scattered bud vases and candles gave the whole tablescape an organic and relaxed feel. Tabletop rentals from Soiree8 and paper goods from For Your Party finished off the gorgeous design. Mix and match vintage goblets contrasted modern white plates and gold flatware… and can we talk about how cute those lavender napkins are?! Finally, custom calligraphy menus and name cards tied in the pops of grey from the florals.
As guests arrived, delicious Sunstone wine started flowing, and Modern Art Catering passed out miniature pizzas, complete with mini pizza boxes! After mixing and mingling (and taking advantage of an amazing cheese, charcuterie, and balsamic bar), guests sat down at their place settings for the first course. The Modern Art Catering menu included pappa al Pomodoro with micro basil and burrata and sweet corn agnolotti with corn buerre blanc and baby corn, all leading up to the main course of braised Osso Bucco with a pine nut gremolata and polenta. Each course was perfectly paired with wines from Sunstone’s own collection. For dessert, Chef and Modern Art Catering CEO Matthew Antoun created a green tea panna cotta with a matcha creme anglais that was truly a work of art!
