Inspired by our European travels this summer, where we sipped on Aperol spritzers at every corner cafe, we decided to craft this delicious twist on the classic cocktail. What do you need? What better place to start than with a fine bottle of Italian Prosecco? Riondo Prosecco is the perfect base to give this summertime sip the bubbles (and great taste) it needs. You’ll be delighted to find that this spritzer is easy to make… and easy to drink. Aperol, soda water, and ice are all you need in addition to the Prosecco. We added strawberries for a seasonal – and pretty – touch.
This sparkling cocktail is perfect for summer get-togethers and pairs perfectly with lounging poolside. We personally think it’s a great way to spice up a mimosa bar too. Let guests make their own champagne cocktail or enjoy the fabulous Riondo Prosecco by itself! Here’s the mix:
Ingredients
Riondo Prosecco
Aperol
Soda Water
Strawberries
Ice
Orange to garnish
Instructions
We mixed this Prosecco cocktail up for a group to enjoy, so our recipe uses 1 bottle of Riondo Prosecco and makes a pitcher. Proportionally, you can whip up a single serving with a shot of Aperol in a glass of Prosecco with ice.
Chop a handful of strawberries and shake in a mixer with 5oz Aperol.
Strain into the pitcher and top with Riondo Prosecco and Ice.
Top with sliced strawberries and oranges for garnish. Isn’t it pretty?!
