When one of your best friends has a birthday coming up, there’s always the fun question “What should we do!?”. When Ashley Smith from Buzzworthy Events friend was turning 31, they decided to do something a little different. Instead of a standard night of dinner and drinks, maybe some dancing here or there, they decided to take a visit up to the beautiful coast of Marin County in Northern California. They spent a cozy grey afternoon on the water in Tomales Bay celebrating, laughing, and grilling fresh oysters! How fun does that sound!? Guests snacked on rosemary marcona almonds, farm to table oysters, local cheeses, fresh lavender lemonade, and fruit. (Yum!) Rustic and clean pieces suited the outdoor setting perfectly. The smokey aroma seeped into everyones clothing, the salt clung to their hair, and everyone got their hands dirty. Nothing is happier than spending a day doing what we love most with those we love most!
