Designed by Sterling Social, it’s no wonder how perfectly the party achieved the cool L.A. vibe. With leather couches and a fully stocked bar, we’d stay all day!

Cocktail parties, just for fun, are always a good idea! Good weather and a chance to catch up with close family and friends was the perfect excuse for this late afternoon celebration with fresh, handcrafted cocktails and inventive food. The side terrace and backyard of this Los Angeles home were transformed into an inviting and casual lounge environment with a mixture of masculine, rustic, and organic details. An organic color palette in neutral shades featured bold textures of reclaimed wood, crisp linen, and caramel leather. Subtle detailing incorporated natural greenery and live succulents to enhance the existing outdoor environment. The focal point of the side terrace was a reclaimed wood bar front with an adjacent wood and steel shelving unit displaying unique glassware, organic detailing and various bar accents.

The backyard was furnished with a mixture of industrial wood benches, plush linen club chairs, leather arm chairs and comfortable tufted ottomans for lounge seating. Additionally, two high wood console tables barstools offered playful seating for guests to enjoy cocktails. For a fun and personalized touch, branded cocktail napkins, wood stirrers and bar menus displaying signature cocktails helped to commemorate the day. As guests departed, they were gifted the most beautiful takeaways – kraft boxes with a pair of coupes and a customized handcrafted cocktail recipe booklet as a memorable keepsake.
