This edgy and romantic dinner party celebrated the launch of Anine Bing’s fragrance ‘Savage Rose’ – and the name says it all! Royale at But First, Party! designed the night to match Anine Bing’s brand – not only beautiful, but feminine and strong. With a stellar setting and a vendor team more than capable of producing magic, the evening couldn’t have been more fitting. Royale shares more on how the designer’s beautiful home and signature style influenced every detail below…
I designed and planned this dinner party for fashion designer Anine Bing, hosted at her Los Feliz home. The theme for the evening, much like her brand, embodied the duality of a woman; soft and strong, masculine and feminine, light and dark. The overall aesthetic of the dinner party was really inspired by this concept, and I looked to incorporate design details that were both edgy and romantic—from leather jackets draped on chair backs to the La Tavola gauze-draped white linen and whimsical tablescape. (The Anine Bing leather jackets were also the perfect party favor on a California winter night!)
Of the Flowers adorned the Found Vintage tables with a collection of depression-era vintage bottles of various heights, filled with soft frilly clouds of white roses and long stems of scabiosa. Together they created a beautiful layered effect. She also created a gorgeous installation on the fireplace with a concentration of textural white garden florals such as peegee hydrangea, and white tuberose, along with trailing, wild Jackson Vine and Nagi greenery. Guests such as Rosie Huntington Whitely and Arielle Vandenberg enjoyed a colorful menu from Haute Chefs LA that was served family style. And, yes, it was as good as it looks!
