Foxtail florals threw the prettiest flower crown workshop at their super cool Orange County studio! They created an a-symmetrical flower crown and are teaching us how to DIY it too! A gorgeous “Lemon Chiffon” named Peony served as the crown’s focal point. Not only did they create stunning floral crowns for themselves and the party attendees, but they even made an incredible wood slat wall to make the perfect backdrop for the flower buckets! The event was so much more than just flower crowns. In addition to a flower crown tutorial, the women enjoyed a beautiful setting – full of flowers, naturally – refreshments, and a floral inspired dessert display. Beverly’s Best Bakery provided the yummiest cake pops, hand painted macaroons and cupcakes (which were almost too beautiful to eat!) for the day while Taylor Cole utilized her amazing eye to capture all the pretty details! We wish we were up close and personal with those rosette cupcakes!
Steps to creating your perfect flower crown:
1. Gather supplies & flowers you want to use
2. Cut your rope wire to fit and add greens to it by attaching it with a small piece of wire at one end and wrapping the greens around rope till you reach the end. Fasten with another wire.
3. Start adding your flowers to one side of your crown – working your way back
4. Add your desired ribbon to the ends and tie on!
