For an appetizer that pleases both the tastebuds and the eyes, we love these Figs Stuffed with Goat Cheese. It’s, again, that perfect combination of sweet and savory. While the savory/sweet combo of figs is our favorite, we do love a purely sweet fig treat too. For something a little lighter, we indulge in this Roasted Fig and Walnut Parfait. Roasting figs caramelizes them and brings out a lot a sweetness, which makes for a perfect pairing with crunchy walnuts and creamy yogurt! We’ve tried this combo with regular, greek, and coconut yogurt and all are equally delicious.

We can’t have a post full of fig recipes and not include one to make your very own homemade Fig Newtons. This childhood classic is a relatively simple recipe – the key to keeping the cookies soft and chewy is to steam them after baking! And if you’re looking for a healthier and/or gluten free option, you won’t be disappointed with this one.
