As we head into Halloweekend, there are all sorts of activities that we are hoping to fill our agendas with! This Southern California heat wave has us craving everything Fall and we are fully prepared to partake in all the activities (no matter the temps!). From baking, to sipping, to crafting, we have a seasonal or Halloween DIY for everyone involved.

Decorate your pumpkin
As much as we love the tradition of carving pumpkins, it has the reputation of getting pretty messy, with or without little ones partaking in the process 😉 This year, we turned to decorating our pumpkins and we adore the way they all turned out! We’ve seen people use paint, push pins, metal washers, wood buttons, you name it. While you’re at it, serve up one of these healthy pumpkin recipes to really get in the season!

Plan Your Costume (and makeup!)
If you haven’t yet, you better start prepping your Halloween costume! Here are a few ideas you can pull together with pieces you already have in your closet. Or create your costume using makeup for an all out, inexpensive, and easy look. We love this deer and cat makeup from you & lu!

Craft a Spiked PSL
Whether you’re carving pumpkins, hosting a costume party with friends, or enjoying a backyard fire, these fall cocktails are sure to impress. Yes, we were sure to include all things cinnamon, pumpkin, and of course rum (and even coffee!)
Personalize it!
Looking for a fun activity to do with your kids this weekend? These masks are fun to color and to wear to any and all Halloween events or even out trick or treating! You can spice them up with the Rub on Decals from OMY too! And these are not just for kiddos, they are 100% parent approved! 😉 We know what we’ll be adding to our vintage jean jackets this weekend!
