Tassels and Tastemakers 2014

Ever wonder what all of this #TasselsandTastemakers business is we’re always talking about!? If you follow us on Instagram or Twitter then we’re sure you’ve seen it! It’s one of our favorite events to put on and we’re so excited to share this year’s party photos with you here and with our wonderful friends over at Glitter Guide! Do you remember how fun and amazing the first one was? But first off…what is it?!

We have a program through Be Inspired PR full of wedding professionals from all over the country called our Tastemakers. These people are hand picked by our team as vendors that have perfected their craft, are innovators and are looked up to by their peers. Along with their membership in this program, Tastemakers receive press and media opportunities, consideration for photoshoots that Be Inspired PR produces, and an invite to this amazing party! The event is filled with floral designers, stationers, photographers, film makers,caterers, event planners, and everyone in between. Not to mention contacts from some of the top media out there! It’s an evening filled with conversation, networking, amazing food and drinks, and maybe even a little dancing! We love being able to partner with some of our favorite Tastemaker brands to make it a night to truly remember! We host this fabulous soiree twice a year (Spring and Fall) and invite all of our Tastemaker friends including bloggers and editors from the media outlets we work with and we’d love to include you! And now on to the amazing images from this Spring’s Tassels and Tastemakers at the Ace Hotel in Downtown LA! Using the Ace’s fun Old Hollywood vibe, we had Found Rentals bring in some of their favorite black, white, and gold pieces as well as those incredible hide rugs and fun trophy accents (because the best of the best deserve an award). Wedding Paper Divas filled the pillars and walls with decals that spelled out each contributor’s Instagram handle as well as our giant hashtag. Definitely one of our favorite parts! One Hope Weddings poured wine and delicious cocktails, Copper Willow made some adorable drink stirrers, flags, and name tags for everyone to enjoy, and The Velvet Garden filled the room with fresh and vibrant florals! We loved all of the whites and greenery they brought in to brighten up the room! But the star of the night? A Sprinkles Cupcakes ice cream cart! The Sprinkles team loaded up a shelf with cupcakes and mixed them with their delicious ice cream to make unforgettable cupcake sundaes. That station was always a busy one 😉 Brandon Kidd did an amazing job capturing all of the details (as always). Every time we look back on the photos we get so excited for the next one!
