His and Hers Home Office with Wayfair

When we moved into our new home and I saw the formal living room, I knew right away that it was going to be converted into our work space. It had a lot of natural light, a fire place, and french doors that open to our garden patio. The challenge then was how to create a space that would work for both my husband and me? Thus, the idea was born for a his and hers home office. To start, I couldn’t have made it all happen without two essential partners: Wayfair and Chelsey Hale Designs. They were game changing in the process, helping bring my vision to life from start to finish.

The concept we wanted consisted of neutral colors with a little pop of color that would appeal to both my husband and me. Our color palate: grey, white, gold, black, and blush with hints of green from plants and artwork. Here is what Chelsey helped me come up with in terms of the best products from Wayfair:

The Registry also serves as a hub for couples, letting them personalize their registry and orders by uploading photos, sharing notes for their guests and friends. I was able to have my husband collaborate with me on products to be sure he liked them, and he could easily make notes and add his own favorites to our profile as well.

Another major part of bringing this space to life was the gallery wall. It was key in creating an environment where I would want to work from every day! Minted provided beautiful art prints that remind me of California, from where I recently moved. I really wanted to incorporate desert and beach scenes to bring a piece of my SoCal roots with me here to Colorado. And I can’t rave about it enough!
