Tassels and Tastemakers 2015: Wild West

This wasn’t their first rodeo.. so it’s no surprise Be Inspired PR’s Tassels and Tastemakers Party won best in show this March! This was the 5th semi-annual Tassels and Tastemakers party – there has been glitter, and greenery, lots of gold, and now loads of lasso and leather (you’re in for a treat :). These affairs just keep getting better! If you haven’t already guessed it (hint: it’s in the title!) the theme was “Wild West.” So naturally, folks – meaning the top professionals in the wedding industry – flew in from all over wearing cowboy boots and hats. Yeehaw! All were greeted with a custom sheriff badge name tag and a letterpress guide to the night from Underwood Letterpress sporting a “sexy cowboy” on the front – and granted entrance to the two-steppin’, boot scootin’ soiree!

Troy Grover and Cloudless Weddings were there to capture all the amazing details! Take a walk in their boots and step into our saloon at the Carondelet House in Los Angeles (ok, so a little removed from the land of tumbleweeds and horses). Don’t resist the urge to hum along to “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” because you’re about to be transported into our (elaborately designed and undeniably fun) version of the Wild West!

The Saloon, designed by Karson Butler Events, served up delicious honey whiskey lemonade from 24 Carrots Catering and Tres LA kept the guests full with delicious appetizers and a panini station!

Guests could make a custom flipbook to take home at the Flipbooth in front of a “Go Buck Wild” backdrop designed by The Venue Report! (Those are hand painted deer!). Attendees were encouraged to network with each other by posting a photo with a new friend and were entered to win the “Selfie Shootout” – a giveaway hosted by The Venue Report for a one night stay at the beautiful Rancho Valencia!

A custom teepee and dinner table with dream catchers overhead designed by Mindy Weiss had guest gawking and lounging inside!

The space was dotted with custom rope signs with the event’s custom hashtag, #TasselsandTastemakers, and the hosts’ Instagram handles created by Pitbulls and Posies!

The dance floor sparkled with custom market lights and comfy lounges designed by Beth Helmstetter Events. Can we take a second to admire that denim Found Rentals furniture?! Found Rentals brought in all of the amazing rustic style furniture to transform the space and Hidden Garden Flowers and Art With Nature created incredible floral displays!

Throughout the night, guests took line dancing lessons with the live country band, “The Whiskey Woos” by Van Tuyl Entertainment, enjoyed cold beer on tap and visited the “braid bar” by 10.11 Makeup for a true cowgirl hair style!
