When it comes to planning your wedding, you might be faced with the decision of splurging or saving on certain elements. Whether it be the cake, stationery or tableware, it’s always nice to weigh your pros and cons and factor in which details are most important to you! We absolutely love this “splurge vs. save” vintage-meets-mod styled wedding shoot by Ashley Baber… here are two similar (and gorgeous!) looks at different price points!

Both styles include beautiful monograms, lush floral centerpieces and beautiful stationery! We can’t decide which one we love more… would you splurge or would you save?!

Amazing photos by Garrett Nudd!

Be Prepared to Be Inspired…

“Splurge”

Moya Minns of MM Ink created a custom monogram for the napkins and pillows, as well as various stationery pieces (invitations, menu cards, favor tags)

“We chose silk linens, upgraded stemware and flatware and vintage chargers to set the opulent table. The modern ghost chairs were the perfect choice for the vintage-meets-modern look!” -Ashley

More expensive blooms, such as peonies and ranunculus, were used in the “splurge” centerpieces

Obsessed with these vibrant peonies tied with a silk bow!

“The custom cake has fondant icing and a stunning sugar flower. Guests were given custom cookies as favors in a chic clear box with a pretty silk bow treatment!” -Ashley

 “Save”

“We has Moya create a monogram for this look as well, but worked with the stationer to print the monogram and the couples names on the various stationery pieces rather than hand writing each item.” – Ashley

Tables were draped with basic poly-cotton linen and Chiavari chairs adorned with colored grosgrain ribbons added extra depth

This bouquet featured garden roses as a nice alternative to the peonies and was tied off with beautiful burlap ribbons

This buttercream cake is a little smaller and was simply decorate with a few real blooms!
