Kate and Rich both had a very clear vision for their wedding day: they wanted to express their fun-loving side, with all the elegance of a New England estate wedding. With a priority on elegant but playful details, the story of the day unfolded beautifully.
Fresh flowers from local Eddy Farm were selected and sourced right in the heart of Connecticut. Lush garlands of greens and local wildflower breeds adorned not only the bouquets but the tablescapes in the vast dining rooms as well. The attention to detail was not missed in the florals!
The mansion itself was the perfect setting to carry off Kate’s dream for her wedding day. Elegant antiques from a bygone era complimented her own wedding decor, such as the oversized garlands of flowers draped over the beautifully carved mantles in each of the dining rooms. With the weather cooperating, the bride and groom shared their first dance outside on the patio, with friends and family gathered in a circle around them, to celebrate their love.
